West Vancouver Cricket Club - Junior Cricket Program / Kanga Softball and Under 16's hardball cricket (2010 season)

The Junior Cricket program for the 2010 season:

Kanga Cricket (softball cricket):

This program is geared towards boys and girls (6 to 12 years of age), who have had little or no exposure to the game.  The Kanga group will practice mid-week (1.5 hours) at Hugo Ray Park.  Games will be on Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 am.  Teams involved are Jack Kyle's Dolphins, Windies' Super Strikers, West Vancouver CC Lions and hopefully a team based in Burnaby. The Surrey based Kanga teams may also participate in the Vancouver and District Saturday Morning Cricket League.

Under 16's hardball cricket:

The Under 16's will practice mid-week @ Hugo Ray and play Saturday mornings from 9 to 11:15 am.   Teams include - the Dolphins, Super Strikers, St. Georges School and the Lions.  Most games will be played at Douglas Park or Stanley Park.  The team will be managed/coached by Tiku Bhar and Alex Turko.

The hardball cricket team will also practice on Thursday nights from 6:30 - 8 pm at Hugo Ray Park.

REGISTRATION OF JUNIOR CRICKET PLAYERS

The Kanga and Under 16's begin their season on May 15th with player registration set for Thursday, May 6th at 6:30 pm at the WVCC Clubhouse. The first practice will also be on Thursday, May 6th from 6:30 - 8 pm.  All equipment is provided.
